Continues To Shine
Last April 6, 2013, Mineski hosted the first GMPGL of the year for Starcraft II - Heart of The Swarm. Of course, I wouldn't miss it for the world.
This was the first GMPGL where all the players across the Philippines were able to go against each other. Approximately, 50 people registered to join the tournaments. The brackets were divided into their leagues in the game (which is determined by their performance in the ladder matches), BSG (Bronze, Silver, Gold), GPD (Gold, Platinum, Diamond) and Masters.
The finals was a nail biter between Manila and Cebu's finest players, Stellar and Steelheart, even though, Stellar emerged as the winner.
For being a viewer, I enjoy watching this game, I swear, the mind games, the competitiveness, the respect, it's just amazing. The more I get to watch people play, the more I get hooked into the game, the more I get to play, the more I want to just sit in front of the computer and just play all day.
Yes, I was there to support Cav, I have never missed any of his tournaments since we got together, achievement! I remember the first time I saw him play was in Cebu, and I couldn't understand a thing about Starcraft, I guess not missing any of his games helped me understand the game a lot, well aside from him coaching me from time to time.
I would just want to congratulate my Buhnii, I know this is late, and that I've congratulated you tons of times already, but I want you to know that I'm super proud of you and everything you've accomplished and I will continue to be proud no matter what. I'll support you every step of the way, and I'll be there when you need me. I knew that the good luck stars would always work! I love you, Cav. Always remember that no matter what happens, you're my champion :) "Champion ka ng puso ko" :">
Yeah, that's how his keyboard is set up |

SHOPPER'S GALORE, SARAH LEI SENDS ME SOME LOVE
I got a message a few weeks ago from one of my Facebook friends, Sarah. She told me that she owns this online store, Shopper's Galore, and would want to send me some items. I was flattered. I swear. I didn't really expect anything like this to happen ever. I mean, I haven't been part of showbiz for a couple of years already and somehow it's heartwarming to know that some people still remember me from the good 'ol days.
So, I got the package she sent me two days ago, although because of school and other things in between I wasn't able to blog about it as soon as I got it. I'm sorry :(
When I opened the package, she had this really touching letter.
Sarah was one of my Facebook friends from the Facebook account I deactivated and when she added me up on my new one, I accepted it because for quite sometime, even if I didn't know her personally, I was able to exchange a few messages with her before. Remember the trend on Facebook a few years back, I think, the one where you'd put dares on your status and whoever "likes" or "comments" first would be the one you'd exchange "dares" with? Well, out of boredom, I joined that trend, I posted "I'd change my profile photo to the photo of the first one who'd "like" this status." and Sarah, was the one who liked it first. I made her pick what photo I'd change my photo to, and somehow that's how we were able to talk to each other.
Sarah, I really appreciate the things you sent me, they're beautiful. I'm currently trying to think of an outfit where I'd be able to wear the bracelets you gave me and let them highlight the entire outfit. Of course, I do remember that Facebook status and profile photo change. It's really nice to know that somehow there are people like you out there who still remember me from my Wansapanatym days :)) You're really a sweetheart.
