Enchanted Time

Last March 24, 2013 we decided to head to Enchanted Kingdom. It was our first "summer get away". My brother just started his summer vacation and sadly I don't start mine till the 16th of April, but then I found time to still enjoy whatever plans we have. Cav, and his little brother, CJ, went with us. We enjoyed EK's summer promos.

Aside from that Student promo, EK has this promo that if you buy 4 tickets you get one more for free. We were lucky enough that during our trip to EK there weren't a lot of people in the park. Last month, my boyfriend, Cav and I went there to celebrate our fifth month anniversary and there were three schools who were having their field trips all on the same day. So we weren't able to maximize the trip. Although during our visit last Sunday, there weren't any lines to get on the rides. We were able to experience every single ride in the theme park at least three times. My brother and I even rode "Anchors Away" without anyone else on board aside from the two of us. I sat on one end and my brother sat on the other. It was amazing. I can say that the money we spent was really worth it.
CJ, enjoyed "Rio Grande" the most, we rode it at least five times. We had this routine, after getting wet at "Rio Grande" we let our clothes dry off while riding "Flying Fiesta" or the new ride in EK, called "The Magic Disc".

We had tons of photographs. The Enchanted Kingdom photographers took good shots of us as well so we sort of spent a few bucks on photos which were taken on the rides.
We rode the EK Shuttle, the one which is located at Ayala, to and from EK. It costs 300php per head, it's almost the same, maybe 50 pesos more than you'd spend when you take jeepneys and buses going to the theme park but it's worth it. No hassle at all.
If you would want to plan a trip to Enchanted Kingdom and don't have the transportation to get there, you can plan your visit here.

Enchanted Kingdom have tons of new attractions and I swear, it just gets better and better.

Sementeryo Sa Norte

Yesterday, we had an unplanned photoshoot at the North Cemetery. We weren't doing anything at the office and we decided to drive around and we ended up going to the North Cemetery. I was wearing this scarf my mom bought, and we thought of having fun with it. Here are the photos we came up with.

What do you guys think?

Just a little fact, my grandma is buried there too, so I decided to visit her as well. She's cooks the best sinigang dish ever. I miss her so much. I remember we used to fall asleep in front of the television when she watches me when my mom and my dad weren't around. I hope wherever she is, she's proud of me and my brother and of course my mommy, I'm sure she is.

Fire Away

My dad took me firing at Commander Shooting Range, a firing range in Cubao. It was the first time I ever held a gun, the first time I ever shot a gun. It was amazing.
My dad was asking me if I was nervous and surprisingly, I didn't feel nervous at all. I was excited. I got a hang of it after a few shots, it wasn't that difficult. Maybe I should thank video games for my aiming abilities. Kuya Jin, the firing instructor, was really good. He gave me very clear instructions and somehow he challenged me through out the activity. He said the usual target distance a beginner is given is about 5-6 meters but because I was able to hit the target nicely during my first few tries, he moved the target farther (9meters) and we were both shocked that I was still able to hit the black dot and the black triangle. After 30 rounds, my arm started to ache.
Because I was proud, I took my target board home and displayed it on my window sill.

My papa says he'd take me with him again soon, I can't wait. Somehow this activity made me want to try out archery more. When you guys aren't busy and are up for something new, why not try firing. It can be more exciting than you think. Visit Commander Shooting Range at Facebook for more details about the area and the activity.
